What We Do.

Adam Capital extends credit in the range of $250,000 to $1 million to the green energy developers, owners, power producers, and support industries. The credit, or loans, are secured by significant assets. Once green energy systems are installed, site owners or developers are eligible to receive unprecedented levels of government rebates and industry incentives; these government payments are assigned to and collateralized by Adam Capital to repay the Adam Capital short-term loan.

How We Work.

Adam Capital employs a time-tested, pragmatic, investment strategy of collateralized lending. The assets we consider as collateral include equipment, cash value of government and utility rebates and incentives, power purchase agreements, and lease agreements. Once the systems are installed and government rebates and incentives received by Adam Capital, the funds are applied to repay our loan. Loans are extended on a short-term basis, initially for a six to twelve month period.

Who's Borrowing?

Adam Capital borrowers deploy renewable energy production and waste recovery systems. We fund installation of proven, field-tested systems, including solar, small wind, waste stream recovery and more. Based on our loan size ($250,000 to $1 million), the projects we fund are typically commercial, campus-size systems in the 10 – 200kW consumption range. Borrowers include a wide range of organizations, from general commercial enterprises to agricultural, retail, sports facilities, hotels, industrial plants, education, bundled residential, and transportation providers.

With 50 years combined experience in finance, green, taxation and underwriting, the Adam Capital team is addressing a critical market gap that larger commercial banks find too small, and smaller regional funding sources lack the expertise. We utilize rigorous underwriting standards to mitigate risks—and target strong returns for our investors.
